How to become a pharmacy technician in North Dakota

Foothills alone is not enough in North Dakota. The state requires an ASHP-accredited program, either at a school or through an employer's accredited on-the-job program, and Foothills is PTCB-recognized, not ASHP-accredited. Please talk to the Board before you pay for anything.

Heads up: our program alone is not enough in North Dakota. Foothills alone is not enough. North Dakota requires ASHP-accredited training. We'd rather tell you now than have you pay and find out later.

The 4 steps in North Dakota

  3. Pass the PTCE. Required in North Dakota. Foothills can help you prepare.
  4. Register as a technician. Check with the Board for the fee. Renew every year with 10 CE hours.
